I got the phone call this morning about his blood work and he has fatty liver disease, the thing cats can get when they stop eating for whatever reason and then they can't eat. I am force feeding . . .

Today it seemed like Tigger was eating more since I added the kitten milk supplement to the mix.
He is well hydrated too with all the fluids I am sticking in him too.

My son Z was eating some orange sherbet of all things and Tigger was sitting next to him on the sofa.
All of a sudden Tigger leaned in and sniffed and then licked the sherbet! I was so excited . . .

Tigger has been eating the wet kitten food well but won't even look at anything dry. He still is not drinking on his own at all.

The vet thinks something may be seriously wrong with Tigger. They kept him for an hour to hydrate him under the skin and to get blood work.
She thinks it is either anemia or a liver problem.

Tigger is still eating on his own but he didn't eat near enough today and that worries me. If he doesn't get enough calories in then he will be back where we were with the fatty liver causing . . .

I had the day wrong about the blood work, that isn't until tomorrow.
I can say he ate more today than he has any other day so far.

Tigger's temperature was back to normal today and yeah, they didn't charge me for the visit today!
The vet told me to keep an eye out and make sure that he is progressing each day, eating more, playing . . .
